The Importance of Choosing the Right Feed in Livestock Farming

High yield and profitability in livestock farming are closely related to the creation of the right feeding program. It is necessary to use the feed suitable for the animal’s age, live weight, production stage, and purpose in the correct amount and within a balanced ration. Since feed expenses constitute a significant portion of operating costs, choosing the right feed is of great importance for the sustainability of both animal performance and business profitability.

So, why should producers choose Akıllı Yem?

1. The First Step of Production: Analyzed Quality Raw Materials

Quality feed starts with quality and controlled raw materials. At Akıllı Yem, raw materials undergo physical and chemical analyses in the laboratory. Values such as dry matter, crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, and crude ash are checked to evaluate their suitability for production.

2. Balanced Feeding with 100% Plant-Based Protein Sources

Adequate and balanced feeding is important for the development, yield, and reproductive performance of animals. Akıllı Yem uses 100% plant-based protein sources such as corn gluten meal, soybean meal, linseed meal, canola meal, cottonseed meal, as well as live yeast, bypass fat, and organic-inorganic vitamins and minerals.

3. Opportunity to Utilize Your Own Barley and Corn

Producers can utilize their own barley and corn together with Akıllı Yem concentrate feeds. Thus, the feed raw materials available on the farm can be used more efficiently.

4. Product Options According to Animal Needs

Every animal’s nutritional requirement is different. Different products should be preferred for fattening cattle, dairy cattle, calves, heifers, sheep, goats, and poultry.

The Akıllı Yem product group includes concentrate feed options suitable for different animal species and production periods. Thus, the producer can choose the product that fits their animal’s needs.

5. Free Ration Support

As Akıllı Yem, we do not just offer feed; we also provide free ration and TMR support to our producers. By evaluating corn silage, alfalfa hay, straw, barley, and other feed raw materials, we help create a feeding program suitable for the animal’s age, live weight, and production goal.
